How often do I need to clean the fountain?

We recommend a full disassembly and deep clean every 7 days. The stainless steel tank is dishwasher-safe (top rack). The pump should be soaked in a 50/50 water-vinegar solution monthly to prevent mineral buildup.

Do I need replacement filters?

Yes — the Flow uses a 3-layer filter disc (cotton mesh + activated carbon + ion-exchange resin). Replace every 2-4 weeks depending on usage. Our Flow Refresh 6-Pack is the official replacement.

Is it really silent?

Below 30dB in normal operation — quieter than a whisper (which is ~30dB). You may hear a gentle water trickle, but the pump itself is inaudible from more than 3 feet away. If you hear humming, check that the pump is fully submerged and the impeller is clean.
